European Conference on Cyber bullying

On the 28th of May was held in Madrid the European Conference on Cyber bullying.

Under the coordination of COFACE (Confederation of Family Organisations in the European Union) were presented the good practices of EU member countries against cyber bullying   in the context of the European project "European Awareness Raising Campaign on Cyber bullying".

Among 80 participants from all over Europe, Greece was represented by Mrs. Lambrini Konsta from the Greek Cyber Crime Unit and Mrs. Ioanna Avloniti head of International Relations department of the Organization “ The Smile of the Child”. They were both invited from the Centre of Family and Child Care which participates at the program.

Mrs. Avloniti has presented the actions that “The Smile of the child” has developed against cyber bullying emphasizing on he E-ABC (www.e-abc.eu) project , the online platform YOUSMILE (www.yousmile.gr) and the new initiative of the Association for the establishment of a European Network against bullying, with the participation of 17 organizations from 12 countries of the EU
